Problems with Motorola Ti250e

I am having a problem using SMS-IT with a Motorola Ti250e. It is on the Orange UK network and I have it connected directly to the serial port.

The last few lines I receive on SMS-IT's terminal screen are:

[2002/09/27 09:53:03.343] SMS service does not accept message =>COM5



Does the problem lie with the software or with the network? Is this type of phone supported by SMS-IT? I can send SMS messages using Motorola's own proprietory software with no real problems, but I'd like to use SMS-IT. Can you suggest a course of action?
