If the SMS are in the "Sent box" then SMS-it "belives" that they are sent... at least this is what the Nokia reports back.
Can you please try again to send to the group. After the test please send us the c:\sms-it\messages.db and the c:\sms-it\session.log file. The session.log records all communication with the Nokia, hence will help us to find the problem.
